Morgan and Will’s Forsyth Park Inn wedding was charming and intimate. As their wedding photographers, we were so honored to be part of their winter wedding surrounded by the closest of their friends.
GETTING READY AT FORSYTH PARK INN
Makaela started capturing their special day by photographing Will getting ready in his room at the Inn with his closest buddies. The rooms at the Inn are so charming and historic and add so much to the getting ready experience. Morgan prepped for the big day with her besties in the bridal suite. Again, another lovely suite with so much personality. They helped her curl her hair and zip up her dress. Special moments to capture as a photographer.
WEDDING DAY CEREMONY AT FORSYTH PARK INN
The ceremony took place in the garden out back of the Inn. Luckily, or should I say Luckey (their new last name) the weather was perfect. Morgan descended on the beautiful staircase where she met her father at the bottom. The two walked outside and around back to the ceremony. The ceremony was so sweet and intimate. After the ceremony, everyone went inside the inn to toast to the new Mr. & Mrs. Luckey!
Makaela captured a signature MDBP photo of all the guests standing on the porch with the bride and groom. We captured this at one of our first weddings at the Inn and now almost every one of our couples that gets married at The Forsyth Park Inn asks for it. It’s kind of become a tradition, and we love it! Another sweet tradition at the Inn, is champagne toasts in the parlor
FORMALS & PORTRAITS AT FORSYTH PARK
Makaela and the whole crew then walked across the street to Forsyth Park to capture family and friend formal portraits. Then, Makaela strolled through the park with Morgan and WIll to capture some sweet couples portraits. From the Fragrant Garden to the iconic Forsyth Park fountain to The Armstrong mansion, the backdrops did not disappoint.
