Christabel and Mike have a special place in my heart. It all started when they came to visit Savannah and I captured their engagement photos at Wormsloe Historic Site - a Savannah classic. All three of us had such a blast! Christabel ended up reaching out after she received her engagement gallery and asked if I would capture their wedding in Indiana. I was PUMPED! I have photographed weddings in multiple states, but I had not captured or even been to Indiana before!
In the morning I captured Christabel getting ready with her sisters and niece. From all the sparkles and little details, you could tell it was going to be a beautiful day. The girls were so calm, but SO excited.
Their wedding was at Anderson Winery in Valparaiso, Indiana - about an hour outside Chicago. Anderson Winery was a beautiful winery that had such a small town feel. I was obsessed! Once I arrived at the vineyard, I met up with Mike. He and his best man were stringing on Miller Lite cans to the Porsche. AMAZING.
The ceremony took place out on the patio with beautiful pink flowers. The sun was out and it was time to get Mr & Mrs Banning married! In fact, it was hot, even for a Georgia girl.
The reception was under this adorable white tent with twinkle lights EVERYWHERE. It was beautiful. It didn't take long for the party to get started. I've truly never seen such a dance party!
