I love a good mom and daughter friendship. It may be because my mom is my best friend, but I really think a friendship between a mother and daughter is SO special. My mom and I used to take day trips or weekend trips quite frequently and those are some of my favorite memories growing up. That's exactly what Ashley and her mom, Terry, did! They decided to take a trip to Savannah to celebrate Ashley graduating high school!
They rented an adorable Airbnb on Jones Street (goals, right?) and had the sweetest girls trip to celebrate Ashley. When planning, Terry reached out to see if I had availability for senior portraits and I did! I met them outside their Airbnb and we took half of the session to capture Ashley hanging out on Savannah's gorgeous Jones Street. Then, Ashley changed into this adorable black dress and her CAP and GOWN and we headed to Forsyth.
I had so much fun hanging out with these gorgeous ladies and within the hour we were together, I could see the special bond they had. . . Ashley threw her cap (you have to when you graduate) for some of the photos and her mom got teary-eyed. It was SO SWEET!
Ashley, I can tell your mom is SO proud of you and so am I! I cannot wait to see everything you conquer in the world! The world is yours, sweet girl! Go get it!
